Rohde Vene partners with two family-owned and women-owned partner ateliers have been producing for luxury fashion houses since 1961 and 1978.

started with: respect for material, respect for craft, respect for the people making it. Every piece that leaves their atelier is SGS certified, held to global standards for quality and ethical production.

Has spent nearly fifty years pushing against the formal and predictable in bag construction. They source nylon locally within Portugal, work with the best sustainable practices available, and produce all hardware in-country. They are a family business in the truest sense — shaped by curiosity, built on consistency.

Arzignano, Italian Leather

Our leather comes from a third-generation tannery in Arzignano, Italy, the leather capital of Europe. Chrome-free, metal-free, and fully traceable from hide to finished bag. Certified to LWG Silver environmental standards and verified deforestation-free by the National Wildlife Federation.

Giardini Microfibre Suede

Italian-made by a material house producing for the luxury sector since 1937. Soft, structured, and exceptionally durable. The interior of your bag deserves the same consideration as the exterior.

High-Durability Nylon

Sourced in Portugal and selected for longevity above all else. The same category of material trusted in professional-grade luggage built for serious daily use. It holds 20+ lbs with ease and ages without compromise.

Silk-Feel Satin

Satin lining more commonly found inside couture. Smooth, structured, and precisely finished. The kind of detail most brands reserve for their most expensive pieces. We consider it the baseline.

Hardware

Sourced locally and produced to emulate jewlery, with every finish and weight selected deliberately. What you feel when you open and close a Rohde Vene bag is not accidental.

Made slowly, small batch

Each bag is cut and constructed using a combination of expert machinery and the hands of skilled artisans. The internal architecture, multiple compartments, and precise hardware placement require a level of craft that cannot be rushed. Our first run we created 50 bags of each style - intentionally small and slow.
